Churches of the North and Northwest, Northeast Metro and Central deaneries of the Archdiocese of Atlanta are proud to offer our annual Catechist Certification Conference.  Although the focus of the conference is methodology, theology sessions are offered especially for experienced catechists.

The site of our conference is new this year and will be at  Marist High School. The day includes both English and Spanish  keynote speakers, as well as many featured speakers.  Sessions are offered for all phases of catechesis, and all experience levels of catechists.   Lunch is provided for all participants.

This conference seeks to provide the catechist with:

  • Access to national level speakers representing major publishers
  • A local opportunity to network with catechists from other parishes
  • An opportunity to view current materials featured by sponsoring publishers
  • Ongoing catechist faith formation from basic levels through advanced certification
